Who we are.
THG Yuete Power is a South African–Chinese joint venture built to design, manufacture and deliver the energy infrastructure that Southern Africa's industry, cities and vehicles depend on.
The partnership
Two companies.One mandate.
THG Yuete Power (Pty) Ltd is a joint venture of Tshabangu Holdings Group and Guangdong Yuete Electric Power New Energy Group. The venture brings together South African market knowledge and delivery capability with Chinese manufacturing scale and energy-technology expertise, giving Southern African customers direct access to equipment and engineering that would otherwise sit behind layers of distributors and intermediaries.
That structure means every transformer, switchgear assembly, storage system or charger we supply is backed by the same production bases, engineering teams and quality systems that stand behind our partners' wider businesses — not a one-off import arrangement. It also means we can move equipment, parts and expertise between South Africa and our manufacturing bases as projects demand, rather than being limited to whatever stock happens to be regionally available.

Southern Africa's growth depends on power that is available, affordable and resilient — from the substations that feed a municipal grid to the chargers that keep a commercial fleet moving. Our mission is to make that infrastructure easier to specify, procure and deploy, by combining locally relevant engineering support with equipment manufactured at genuine industrial scale.
We work across the full chain that power depends on: generation and storage, the grid equipment that distributes and protects it, the intelligent systems that monitor and manage it, and the EV charging infrastructure that is becoming part of the same network. Treating these as one integrated system, rather than separate product lines, is what lets us support a project from initial specification through to long-term operation.

Every product we supply is manufactured under internationally recognised quality, environmental and safety management systems, with compliance built into the production process rather than checked at the end of it.
